International Holding Company (IHC), a “diversified Abu Dhabi based-conglomerate” announced on 11 August that it is paying AED 1.8bn ($490mn) for 50% of Turkey’s largest renewables firm Kalyon Enerji.
Kalyon operates 1.5GW of solar PV projects and 1GW of wind, all in Turkey. The lion’s share of this is accounted for by the 1.35GW Karapinar PV project near Konya where installation began in August 2020 and commissioning is slated for completion next year. (CONTINUED – 141 WORDS)
