Guys can be ridiculously hard to shop for since they’re often practical, or if they want something, they buy it themselves. Here are 18 gift ideas that my husband reviewed and approved.
If you have any other genius gift ideas for guys, please comment on this post so we can all reference it.
Gift Ideas for the Dad who has everything
1. Theragun Massage Gun
A massage gun is just as much a gift to yourself as it is to your guy. There are many brands and price points on the market now, so there is definitely something in every budget. A Theragun (name brand) isn’t necessarily the only way to go. Since that’s the brand I own, I always recommend it, since I can speak to the quality, but I know there are a ton of other great options on the market. A massage gun, in general, is a perfect gift for a guy. Tech gifts are fun since you get to “play” with them!
I ordered this affordable massage gun from Amazon to compare and it’s honestly a solid option. It feels cheaper (just in terms of materials) but the massage performance is solid. So if you want to save a little money, go with that.
2. UNTUCKit Wrinkle-Free Shirt
Ready to wear right out of the dryer. This wrinkle-free button-down has the perfect untucked length for a sharp look that works for any outing in any season. If your dad or husband is more on the casual side, I got this pocket tee and this cotton hoodie for Tommy and they’re super soft.
3. Fulton & Roark Narada Solid Fragrance
Narada Solid Fragrance is a unique gift idea for guys. It’s a solid, rub-on cologne with the best notes ever: bergamot, rosewood, and ginger with hints of black pepper and resin. I’m very partial to the packaging, too. Bonus – It’s easy to travel with.
4. Holderness & Bourne Ward Sweater
The Ward Sweater is such a great gift—it’s classic, comfy, and looks good with pretty much anything. Tommy has it in green and wears it all the time. It’s a closet staple that can go to work, the golf course, or out to a dinner.
5. Ember Mug
If the guy you’re shopping for is a coffee drinker, I have the PERFECT gift. Other than a super fancy espresso machine like a Jura (which, if you can go that route, stop reading right now and buy that instead!), the best gift I can think of is an Ember Coffee Mug. I truly can’t believe I went so long without one. I finally caved and ordered one when I learned that the charging puck only had to be used when the mug was out of battery (for some reason, I thought the mug had to sit on the coaster to stay warm, and that sounded like too much effort). I bought an Ember, and I’ve never looked back.
Ember also makes a to-go mug, if that’s more their style.
6. Rustic Leather Catchall Tray
Most men love anything leather and this leather catchall tray is the perfect manly accessory holder for a bedside table, closet, or dresser. Tommy has something similar and it has become the landing place for his watch, cuff links, sunglasses, etc.
7. Vuori Sunday Performance Track Pant 2.0
Tommy loves all of his Vuori clothes. The Sunday Performace pants are the perfect joggers for athleisure and working out. I know many guys would love some nice athleisure/loungewear but aren’t sure where to shop, so get these for them!
8. Needlepoint Sunglasses Strap
A Needlepoint Sunglasses strap makes a great gift under $50. I got Tommy the American Flag style strap, but they also have fun designs like a trout pattern (great for a fly fisherman), this golden retriever design, and so many others.
9. Duckhead Performance Polo
If you know Tommy, you know he loves Duckhead. He wears the long-drive performance polo most often and can’t recommend it enough. These polos hold their shape well, are lightweight, and breathable, making them perfect for the office and the golf course. Since this is one of Tommy’s favorite places to shop, I put together a list of his favorite Duckhead clothing in this blog post.
10. Duckhead Harbor Performance Shorts
The Harbor Performance Shorts were the shorts that first got Tommy hooked on Duckhead. They would be perfect for your dad (or husband) because, as Tommy says, “These shorts are perfect for golf, watching the kids, or hanging around the house. A major plus: you don’t have to iron them, or if you do choose to iron (my preference/OCD) you can get 2-3 wears before they need to be pressed again.”
11. Disposable Camera
I bought a disposable camera for Father’s Day last year and let Thomas take pictures all day. Then I mailed the pictures to Mpix to develop; they give you digital files to print and mail you the negatives if you choose. Then, I framed one for his office. It was honestly so much fun, especially since the gift had multiple “stages” – watching your kids take pictures the day of, looking at (and laughing at) the digital prints, and then presenting the framed picture (or two).
12. Solo Stove Fire Pit
A Solo Stove would be on the pricier end of gifts, but you can consider this a gift for the whole family. I’m adding it to this list because it’s on my personal list of gifts to buy Tommy. We want an outdoor set up in our yard to make s’mores with the kids and host our community group, etc.
13. Unfinished Wood Frame
These unfinished wood frames are the perfect gift for your husband from your kids. Have them paint all over the frame, and then put your favorite photo of them together inside. This set comes in a pack of 6, so you could also make some for grandparents and mail to them.
14. Tecovas Bartlett Travel Kit
If he doesn’t have a nice dopp kit, this Bartlett Travel Kit from Tecovas will make a wonderful gift. I have given Tommy a few things from Tecovas over the years, and he absolutely loves the brand (and so do I). Perfect for taking trips with the family!
15. Smathers & Branson Needlepoint Belt
If the man in your life wears belts, this Duck Decoys Belt will ensure he’s the cool dad at the park. Tommy’s mom has made all of his needlepoint belts, but if that’s not your skillset (it’s certainly not mine), get a Smathers & Branson belt. They’re 100% hand-stitched needlepoint and as classy as they are casual. This is just the thing he’ll want to stand out in a crowd – there are so many more belt designs to choose from that you’ll find one that’s perfect. Or, check out the Smathers & Branson needlepoint wallets – they’re perfection for his pocket.

16. Smathers & Branson Crossed Clubs Shoe Bag
Such a unique gift idea for men, especially the golfer dads. These golf shoe bags have a sturdy and weather-resistant waxed cotton canvas finish and easy-to-clean nylon lining, making them high-quality and long-lasting. It’s the perfect storage for golf shoes, but if your dad (or husband) isn’t much of a golfer, it’s just a great way to separate your luggage from your shoes. I got Tommy this for Father’s Day this year (good thing he doesn’t read my blog).

17. Ugg Ascot Slippers
This is another gift that guys won’t likely order for themselves, but they’ll love having! These Ascot Ugg slippers are high quality and the perfect everyday slippers.
18. An experience
There’s nothing better than an experience. Concert tickets, a guided fishing trip, a round of golf at a dream golf course, a couple’s massage, a weekend getaway, etc. The best memories are always made when you’re doing something with the person you love.
