    What’s Inside the September Box?

The moment I opened this month’s box, I was greeted with the fantastic aroma of all the oils, which always makes me excited to start exploring. This month’s box was packed with a wonderful variety of essential oils and other items to create my own handmade essentials.

The Essential Oils in the Box

Balsam Fir: This oil has a wonderful, fresh, and woodsy scent that reminds you of a walk in the forest. It’s known for its ability to promote clear breathing and create a grounding, uplifting atmosphere. Furthermore, it has antibacterial properties that even have been studied to help defend again Lyme Disease from the blacklegged tick, Ixodes scapularis.
Peppermint Supreme: It’s an energizing and refreshing oil that’s great for an invigorating boost, especially in body washes and balms. Research also shows it helps reduce pain, lower blood pressure as well as heart and respiratory rates.
Cajeput: This oil is often compared to Tea Tree because of its crisp, clean scent and powerful cleansing properties. It’s a great addition for homemade cleaning wipes and products meant to purify the air.
Resilience Blend: A grounding and energizing blend that is perfect for supporting emotional and physical well-being. It’s designed to help you feel centered and strong.

Extras in the simply earth september 2025 box

    The Recipe Box “Extras”

Beyond the essential oils, Simply Earth always includes a few special “extras” to help you create your recipes without a separate trip to the store. This month’s box came with:

Body Wash Powder: This innovative powder turns into a gentle, foaming cleanser when mixed with water, forming the base for the body wash recipe.
Lavender Hydrosol: A gentle and skin-safe floral water that adds a beautiful, calming scent to your creations and is perfect for sprays and wipes.
Paperboard Tube: This eco-friendly tube is the perfect vessel for the homemade balm recipe.
Spray Nozzle: A simple but necessary addition, this nozzle allows you to turn the bottle from your last box into a perfect spray for the cleaning recipe.

Together, these oils and extras provide everything you need for a fun, hands-on experience.

    My Favorite DIY Recipes

The Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box disclosed in this review for September 2025 came with six recipes. Below are the four that I made so far. There is also a DIY recipe for Grab & Go Cleaning Wipes and a Tummy Soothe Roll-On.

    Rooted Clarity Diffuser Blend

I always like to start with a new diffuser recipe, and this one was a perfect fit for the beginning of the month. It was so invigorating and fresh, truly like being outdoors on a walk in nature. The combination of the resilience blend, peppermint supreme and balsam fir is just perfect for creating an atmosphere that is uplifting and grounding in any room.

    Resilient Start Body Wash

For my next creation, I was excited to make the body wash. The blend of the same essential oils from the rooted clarity diffuser blond along with the cajeput promised to be the perfect way to sharpen the senses and start the day feeling energized. The process was straightforward adding the enclosed body wash powder and almond oil, and the result was an invigorating and fresh cleanser that truly delivered on its promise.

    Refresh & Revive Balm

This was one of the more hands-on recipes in the box, and it was so satisfying to make. The balm is perfect for when you are feeling congested from a cold or allergies due to the peppermint supreme and cajeput essential oils, as it provides a soothing rub for your chest. Knowing exactly what goes into it, from the oils to the natural bases, makes it an even more comforting essential to have.

    Lavender Everyday Spray

This recipe was one of the easiest to make since it’s a simple, single-ingredient spray. The instructions were to just insert the spray nozzle directly into the bottle of Lavender Hydrosol. This spray is a true multitasker, and while you could use it as a cooling face mist, I prefer it as a way to refresh my pillows and bedding. It’s so relaxing!

It’s such a handy product to have around the house, as it can also be used as an air fresher, skin soother, a gentle freshener for your pet’s bedding as well as an aromatic addition to your bath water.

Is the Simply Earth Box Worth It?

The Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box typically costs $44.99 per month, but the box is always worth a lot more and includes free USA shipping, five or six recipes and extras needed to make the recipes. The value of the essential oils alone usually exceeds the cost of the box, making it a very economical way to build your essential oil collection and explore natural DIY solutions. For instance, this Simply Earth September 2025 Recipe Box shared in this review is valued at more than $160 for only $44.99, which is a fantastic bargain.
