My First Impressions & Experiences

This month I had a blast whipping up the recipes, especially experimenting with the ones for the makeup. I started by making the Grapefruit Beauty Balm, and the instructions were incredibly clear. The combination of the grapefruit and the base ingredients created a lovely, light balm that feels wonderful on my skin. The scent is so uplifting!

Next, I also tried my hand at the Wild Berry Kiss Lip Paint, and it was surprisingly easy to get a beautiful, subtle color using the red iron oxide and mica powder. The feel of its lip quenching moisture is as beautiful as the shade using the recommended measurements.

The Wineberry Glow Balm was right on target for my light warm skin with yellow undertones. The fact that it felt soothing as well as lovely for a healthy glow made it a new makeup favorite for my dry skin.

The Forest Guardian Roll On has a herbal scent to it, which I liked a lot. I didn’t test it yet for its insect repelling powers because it hasn’t been warm enough for me to venture outdoors much. However, I will let you know later how it does for keeping those pests away.

The quality of the essential oils is always impressive with Simply Earth, and the Beauty Within blend has a lovely floral and slightly citrusy aroma. I’ve been diffusing the Morning Burst blend in the mornings, and it definitely helps to create a positive atmosphere, which I need more than ever considering our crazy economy and state of government right now.
