Dune: The Sisterhood
HBO Max’s “Dune: The Sisterhood” series will reportedly film in Ireland and Budapest and is said to be set around the Butlerian Movement, eighty-three years after all thinking machines were destroyed. [Source: Production Weekly]

The Girls on the Bus
Carla Gugino is the latest to join “The Girls on the Bus” series at HBO Max. Melissa Benoist plays Sadie McCarthy, a journalist who scraps her whole life for her own shot at covering a presidential campaign for the paper of record.

She bonds with three female competitors (Gugino, Natasha Behnam, Christina Elmore). Tala Ashe, Griffin Dunne, Scott Foley and Brandon Scott co-star while Amy Chozick and Julie Plec are executive producers/writers. [Source: TV Line]

Nintendo
The next major Nintendo Direct is reportedly being planned for September, seven months after the last one back in February this year. Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess podcast broke the news, indicating it will be a Legend of Zelda-heavy Direct with the focus on Switch ports of both “Wind Waker” and “Twilight Princess”. [Source: VGC]

Jason Howden (“Guns Akimbo”) will co-write and direct a film adaptation of his R-rated mockumentary comic series “Monsters of Metal”.
