This is a massive vertical at eBay.
The eBay Motors App team has been at the center of the creation and evolution of this vertical Motors experience, and is looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to come and join eBay to lead a high-performing team of Flutter engineers. Our journey is ever-evolving and fast paced.

The ideal candidate will possess a good balance of technology and people management skills; leads with emotional intelligence; has a keen desire to deeply understand our products and services to push our technology forward with respect to functionality, performance, quality, reliability, and scalability.
What will you do?
Lead a high-performing team of Flutter engineers.
Mentor and guide the development of your team members, understanding each individual’s potential, strengths and opportunities for growth.
Promote a highly collaborative cross-functional team environment.
Own your team’s deliverables and ship high quality, maintainable software.
Build and maintain a healthy prioritized backlog in alignment with the team goals.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, back-end engineers, business units, and product analysts to brainstorm and build the next generation of our product and scale it.
Constantly seek opportunities for innovation and map approaches to incorporating those into the product experience.
Maintain a balance between short term and long term goals while shipping high impact products quickly.
Partner effectively and influence peers and senior leadership both within the organization and across eBay.
Experience with mobile product development.
Experience managing a small to medium-sized team of developers.
Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery in a high-velocity environment, following agile or kanban practices.
Great communication skills. Needs to articulate thoughts and proposals clearly.
Ability to grasp new areas; and adapt to changes.
Familiarity with eCommerce is a plus.
10 years of work experience and 3+ years of leading or managing a team.
