Everyone will pay more tax – Hunt

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has told the BBC “we’re all going to be paying a bit more tax” ahead of Thursday’s Autumn Statement.

Speaking to Laura Kuenssberg, he said he had a plan to see the UK through “choppy waters”.

He added: “We will make the recession we are in as short and shallow as possible.”
