
Two helicopters and multiple fire crews are attending a “growing” bush fire at Kaipara Flats.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) was called to Dills Road, approximately 12km west of Warkworth, at around 10am Saturday.

As well as the helicopters, 10 ground appliances were all at the blaze, which measured about 2-3 acres.
The fire was “growing pushed by the wind” the FENZ spokesperson said.
No one had been reported injured and the fire was not currently close to any buildings, they said.
