Christian Monthly Journal Prompts for October: Harvest & Fruitfulness

31 Christian journal prompts for October to help you reflect on harvest and fruitfulness, stay rooted in Christ, and trust God to grow lasting fruit.

Fall is here, and October brings cooler weather, shorter days, and pumpkin-spiced everything. It’s a season of change and harvest – a time when farmers gather in the fruit of their labor after months of planting, tending, and waiting.

The Bible uses this imagery of sowing and reaping often to remind us of a spiritual truth: God calls us to sow seeds of faith, love, and obedience, trusting Him with the fruit.

    Galatians 6:9 encourages us,

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (ESV)

This month’s prompts will help you pause and reflect on the spiritual harvest in your own life – where you’re sowing faithfully, where you may be weary, and how God is producing fruit in and through you.

Each day includes a Scripture verse and a journaling prompt to help you take your faith one step deeper.
