1.China strengthens control on dual-use items export to Japan
China has decided to strengthen export control on dual-use items to Japan, effective as of Tuesday, the Ministry of Commerce announced.
The country prohibits the export of all dual-use items to Japanese military users, for Japan’s military use, and for any other end-users and end-use purposes that help enhance Japan’s military capabilities, the ministry said.

2.No country should act as world’s police or judge: Chinese FM spokesperson
China believes that all countries should respect the development paths chosen by the people of other countries, and abide by international law and the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, a foreign ministry spokesperson said Tuesday, adding that major countries, in particular, should set a good example, and no country should act as the world’s police or judge.
Spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks at a regular news briefing in response to a query regarding the situation in Venezuela.

3.Lee Jae Myung attends event marking 100th anniversary of ROK provisional government site in Shanghai
President of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Lee Jae Myung on Wednesday visited the historic site of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, marking the 100th anniversary of the site’s establishment.
“I hope that today’s event serves as a precious opportunity for us to jointly review the sacrifices and contributions made by our martyrs a century ago, and to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the ROK and China,” said Lee.

4.Chinese police take cybercrime kingpin Chen Zhi back from Cambodia
Chinese national Chen Zhi, head of a major cross-border gambling and telecom fraud criminal group, was repatriated from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to China on Wednesday in an operation conducted by China’s Ministry of Public Security, the ministry announced.
The operation marks another major achievement in law enforcement cooperation between China and Cambodia, according to the Ministry.

5.China’s Hangzhou among UN’s top 20 zero-waste cities globally
Hangzhou, capital of east China’s Zhejiang Province, has been selected as one of the “20 Cities Towards Zero Waste” under the United Nations Secretary-General’s Advisory Board on Zero Waste, according to Hangzhou Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau.

7.China breaks ground on its first sea-recovery reusable rockets plant
China began construction on its first “super plant” for reusable rockets that can be recovered at sea in the eastern city of Hangzhou Wednesday.
The 5.2-billion-yuan ($740 million) project is led by Beijing-based space launch company Space Epoch. According to Hangzhou Daily, it will produce medium-to-large liquid-fueled rockets capable of reuse, high payloads, low cost and sea recovery. The facility, when ready, will manufacture up to 25 of these rockets a year.

9.Indonesia welcomes its first locally born giant panda cub
Indonesia announced the birth of a giant panda cub at Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI), marking a major milestone in the country’s efforts to protect endangered species. TSI holds a media briefing on the newly born giant panda cub Tuesday.
The cub was born on Nov. 27, 2025 to two pandas Cai Tao and Hu Chun sent to Indonesia in 2017 under a 10-year conservation cooperation program with China.

10.China’s Yangtze River remains world’s busiest inland waterway by cargo throughput
The Yangtze River trunk line has remained the world’s busiest inland waterway in terms of cargo throughput, an official said Monday.
The annual cargo throughput at ports along the river’s trunk line has surged by 71 percent to 4.2 billion metric tons over the past decade, Wang Changlin, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a press conference.
