Update on Tinned Fish

Hot honey is a condiment made by combining honey with chili peppers or chili pepper-infused oil.  The result is a sweet and spicy taste treat.  It’s used on many foods like pizza, eggs, anything with cheese, avocado toast.  It can also be used as a marinade for meat.  The first hot honey was created in 2010 by a music industry professional names Mike Kurtz.  After opening, it can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature. $7.76.

A delicious product from Vietnam:  Red Boat Fish Sauce is a first-press fermented sauce made from wild black anchovies that are caught in the waters off Vietnam. It is fermented in large wooden barrels and has a natural umami flavor. The sauce has only two ingredients – fish and salt. This is a traditional Vietnamese fermented condiment. The company is family owned.
