    1. Playboi Carti charged with assault after alleged altercation with his girlfriend and a limo driver

Playboi Carti has been charged with misdemeanor assault following an alleged altercation involving his girlfriend, a limousine driver, and his security guard in Utah earlier this month. According to reports, the 30-year-old rapper, born Jordan Terrell Carter, was reportedly in the state for his Antagonist Tour when deputies from the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fight near River Road and U.S. Route 40 on October 2. The limousine driver, identified as Carl Reynolds, claimed that Carti became aggressive during an argument with his girlfriend and later struck him in the face while he wasn’t looking. Deputies said Reynolds had redness and marks on his jaw consistent with physical contact, according to the police report.

Reports indicate that the confrontation began while Reynolds was driving Carti and his entourage to a rehearsal in Orem. The driver told authorities he attempted to separate the rapper and his girlfriend after their argument escalated, prompting everyone to exit the vehicle. The report alleges that Carti then hit his girlfriend before punching the driver, though his girlfriend reportedly told deputies she was the one who struck Reynolds. Carti later admitted to hitting the driver but said it was because he had stopped “in a weird place.” Playboi Carti was cited for assault on the scene and formally charged on October 9. Representatives for Carti and the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office have not yet commented on the incident.

    2. Odumodublvck’s civil suit continues as as court adjourns “assault” case

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Life Camp, Abuja, has adjourned the trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, to November 26, 2025. The case, a civil suit filed by musician and photographer Levi Ogbogiri (aka Kraziecent), accuses the rapper of assault and battery. Justice J.O.E. Adeyemi-Ajayi set the new date after hearing arguments from both parties, with the claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, confirming that Odumodublvck had been served with all necessary court documents. The defendant’s lawyer, Sheriff Bello, requested more time to prepare a defense, leading to the adjournment.

The dispute arises from an alleged altercation that occurred on December 16, 2024, during a public event where Kraziecent claims Odumodublvck attacked him without provocation while he was filming. Court filings allege that the incident caused bodily harm, emotional trauma, and damage to the claimant’s iPhone 15 Pro Max. Kraziecent is seeking compensation for medical expenses, emotional suffering, and the replacement of his phone, in addition to a public apology published across national media. He is also asking the court to issue an injunction preventing any future harassment by the rapper or his associates. Odumodublvck and his legal team have not yet made any public statements regarding the ongoing case.

    3. Priceless jewels stolen in a theft at the Louvre Museum

French authorities have launched a manhunt after a gang of masked thieves carried out a bold daylight robbery at Paris’ Louvre Museum on Sunday, stealing jewels described as “priceless.” According to Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez, the burglary unfolded in just a few minutes shortly after the museum opened to visitors. The suspects reportedly used a mechanical ladder to reach a first-floor window of the Galeria d’Apollon, the gallery housing France’s royal jewels, before smashing through display cases and fleeing on mopeds. Officials confirmed that nine items were stolen, including pieces of immense cultural significance. One item, a crown belonging to Napoleon III’s wife, Empress Eugénie, was later found broken near the museum, apparently dropped during the escape.

The Louvre was immediately evacuated and remained closed for the rest of the day as police and forensic teams secured the scene. Witnesses described scenes of confusion as security staff ushered tourists out of the galleries, with some visitors initially told there were “technical difficulties.” French media reported that the thieves, believed to be three or four in number, may have used small chainsaws to gain entry. A vehicle-mounted extendable ladder was left behind near the River Seine, offering a key clue for investigators. Culture Minister Rachida Dati and Interior Minister Nuñez both condemned the theft, with Nuñez calling the stolen jewels “of immeasurable heritage value,” emphasizing that their loss extends far beyond monetary worth.

    4. Prince Andrew is being investigated

British authorities are “actively” investigating claims that Prince Andrew attempted to obtain private information about Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused him of sexual assault before her death earlier this year. According to reports, leaked emails suggest that the 65-year-old Duke of York asked one of his taxpayer-funded police protection officers over a decade ago to access Giuffre’s personal data, including her social security number and date of birth. The messages were allegedly sent in 2011, shortly before a now-infamous photograph surfaced showing the royal with a then-underage Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell. There is no evidence that the officer carried out Andrew’s request.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed to the press that the department is aware of the reports and “actively looking into the claims.” Buckingham Palace has not yet commented on the allegations. U.K. Energy Secretary Ed Miliband described the leaked emails as “deeply concerning,” calling for a formal investigation and stressing that protection officers should never be used for personal matters. The controversy comes just days after Prince Andrew announced he would stop using his royal titles and honors, citing their potential to distract from King Charles’ work. Giuffre, who died by suicide in April at 41, previously accused Andrew of sexually assaulting her on multiple occasions when she was 17, allegations he has consistently denied. The two settled out of court in 2022, with Andrew making a charitable donation without admitting liability.

    5. Harry Kane scores 400th career goal

Bayern Munich extended their flawless Bundesliga run to seven straight victories after a hard-fought 2-1 win over rivals Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening. The defending champions were dominant early on, forcing Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel into several key saves from Michael Olise and Luis Díaz before Harry Kane broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute. The English striker powered home a header from Joshua Kimmich’s corner, his 12th league goal of the season and the 400th of his professional career, as Bayern asserted control in front of their home fans. Dortmund gradually grew into the contest after the interval, with Karim Adeyemi squandering a golden chance following a misplaced Kimmich pass midway through the second half.

As Dortmund pressed for an equalizer late in the game, Bayern punished them on the counter. Kane’s sublime cross-field pass released Díaz, who darted down the left and delivered a dangerous low cross that rebounded off Jobe Bellingham, allowing Olise to pounce and double the hosts’ lead. Julian Brandt’s composed 85th-minute strike, set up by Julian Ryerson, gave Dortmund hope of a comeback, but the visitors couldn’t find another breakthrough as Bayern held firm for a seventh consecutive win. The result opens up a five-point cushion at the top of the table for the Bavarians, who look well on course for a second straight Bundesliga title. Kane was named the game’s standout performer, while Dortmund’s Niklas Süle endured a difficult night, substituted at halftime after struggling to cope with Díaz’s relentless runs.
