If I’ve learned one thing from the creative women that work at Camille Styles, it’s that the rituals we return to each season are more than just habits—they’re intentional choices that shape how we feel in our day-to-day lives. Fall, in particular, always invites our team to reset: the light shifts, the air cools, and we naturally crave routines that ground us while still sparking joy during the year’s busiest months.

Morning Rituals That Set the Tone
A revamped morning and evening routine
I’ve always called myself a morning person—but after a summer of nonstop travel and late nights, I’ve been hitting snooze more than I’d like to admit. For me, fall is the ultimate reset (the Great Lock In makes me feel seen). So this season, I’m setting the intention to fall asleep naturally, wake up energized, and start my mornings with purpose. That looks like creating nighttime rituals that actually support rest and carving out an AM routine that feels both grounding and inspiring. Think: a workout, quiet time with my book and tea, and a breakfast that’s as beautiful as it is nourishing. -Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist
Chilly morning walks
There’s nothing I love more than getting up early in the fall here in Chicago when the air is super crisp and chilly. It’s an invigorating start to the day that ensures I keep up my movement habit even when it becomes cold in the Midwest. Rounding out my bundled up lakeside walks with a delicious coffee treat also becomes a bit of a ritual this time of year, and it truly makes me feel my best throughout the whole day. -Suruchi Avasthi, Food Editor
Ice rolling in the AM
I love starting my mornings with an ice roller. It instantly depuffs my face, boosts circulation, and helps me feel awake and energized. The cool feeling is super refreshing and gets my skin ready for the rest of my routine, leaving it fresh and smooth for the day. – Tatom Hoffmann, Marketing Intern
Nighttime Wind-Downs That Nourish
An evening bath
An evening bath at the end of a long day is one of my favorite things in the world. My family knows that when I shut the bathroom door, it’s my quiet time. I dim the lights, light a candle, and pour some Epsom salts into the hot running water. (Pro tip: I get the less expensive Epsom salt because you need to use a LOT of it, like a full 1 to 2 cups.) Then I’ll put on a face mask and let it sit while I read a book, listen to a podcast, or just lie my head back and close my eyes. After drying off, I slather on a nourishing body oil head to toe. – Camille Styles, Editor-in-Chief
Aromatherapeutic oil cleansing
I like to switch up my beauty routine every season. Minimalist in the summer. Maximalist in the winter. When the coziness of fall calls, I crave rituals that feel luxurious and nourishing. I always add this Monastery cleansing oil to my double cleansing routine. It’s a rich oil that gently washes off the day (even makeup!), deeply nourishes my skin, and preps me for my skincare routine. But more than that, it smells incredible. I look forward to the aromatherapeutic effects of breathing in the rich rose scent when I wake up and when I get home. – Langa Chinyoka, Beauty Editor
Seasonal Food & Drink Rituals
Pumpkin spice in my morning coffee
While cinnamon powder is a key ingredient to my morning coffee year round, pumpkin spice is my favorite seasonal swap. A little sprinkle goes a long way and is bursting with nostalgia. It might be a small ritual, but it gives me something cozy to look forward to every morning! – Bridget Chambers, Fashion Editor
A healthy Sunday night dinner
I love to make a healthy dinner on Sunday night that yields lots of leftovers for the week—usually something roasted, warm, and veggie-forward. A few of my Sunday night faves:
- Sweet Potato Black Bean Chili. Ultimate cozy stew packed full of plant-based protein.
- Simple Zucchini Pasta. This one makes the most of your farmer’s market haul with caramelized zucchini, parmesan, and lots of lemon.
- Chicken Tortilla Soup. Our whole family’s obsessed with this one—make a big pot, then set out all the toppings and let everyone go wild. – Camille Styles, Editor-in-Chief

Movement & Mind-Body Practices
Infrared Sauna
After spending all of summer in a perpetual sauna, my favorite fall wellness activity is 45-60 minutes in an infrared sauna. I leave my phone outside, put my legs up the wall, and lose myself in a good book and a puddle of sweat. It’s the perfect reprieve from the cooler weather, and leaves me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated every time. Followed by an everything shower, there’s no better way to spend a fall evening. – Bridget Chambers, Fashion Editor
Daily 30-Minute Walks
My fall movement routine revolves around the simplicity of daily walking and letting my mind wander. There’s the whisper of the chill to come in the Texas air, and I’m feeling the switch inward toward something a little softer than an intense workout routine. The first 10 minutes of my walk are for prayer, the rest are for little conversations or “interviews” with myself. On yesterday’s walk, I asked myself what I’d do on my dream day—this morning I implemented three of those things. Walks, internal chats, and a more intentional fall ahead. – Brittany Chatburn, Content Marketing Director
Mindset Shifts & Seasonal Reflections
Getting Intentional About Gratitude
Fall always feels like a reflective season to me, and honestly, being intentional with gratitude has been such a game-changer. It helps balance out that little slump I feel when the sun starts setting way too early. Sometimes I’ll jot down three things before bed. Other nights, I’ll do a quick meditation or use journal prompts. It just depends on my mood. It’s such an easy way to feel more grounded without overthinking it. – Anna Decker, Social Media and E-Commerce Manager
Morning reflection with The Daily Stoic and Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life
I swear it’s like clockwork every September—I naturally turn inward (no surprise there!). As the pace of life shifts with my boys back in school, I love grounding myself in rituals that set the tone for clarity and intention after I drop them off. Our early mornings are busy, but after drop-off, I immediately come home and make breakfast, a second cup of coffee, and read a passage from The Daily Stoic. I also read a few pages from Manifest. Together, they inspire me to move through the day with purpose and presence. It’s a gentle reminder to slow down and nourish my mind in a season that often feels rushed. – Edie Horstman, Wellness Editor
