Quanta EPC gears up for growth, makes senior appointments

    Oil and gas engineering firm https://www.quanta-epc.co.uk/”>Quanta EPC (formerly Fabricom) is set to create dozens of new jobs in new energies following a multi-million-pound investment from private equity group, Foresight, it said late October.

    Quanta’s innovative approach to brownfield modifications is helping oil and gas companies to extract even more oil and gas from ageing assets more efficiently. It plans to move into hydrogen, carbon capture and storage and offshore wind.

    CEO Nick Oates said: “This substantial investment is a huge statement of confidence in our business and will help us to significantly grow our capabilities as we support clients tackle various energy challenges, including the need for increased domestic energy security, extending the life of aging oil and gas assets and driving the energy transition.”

    Separately that week it also announced two senior appointments, pictured below: Ian Clifford, formerly CEO of PX Group and non-executive director of Axiom, has been appointed as chairman; and chartered accountant Catherine Earl will take up the role of Strategic Finance Director.
