Ogenyi Onazi has explained why he played a part in CHAN Eagles 3-2 win against Manhaim in Abuja on Thursday morning.
The former Lazio midfielder was amongst the player as the Super Eagles team B secured a narrow win as they continued their preparation for Ghana.
Super Eagles B will play Black Stars B over two legs with the aggregate winner securing a spot in CHAN 2023.
Chidiebere Nwobodo, Samuel Amadi and Ebube Duru scored for the Eagles and Onazi has explained why he played a part.
“I am in Abuja to get my passport, I heard the team is in camp and I came to train with them and keep fit.”
The first leg will be played next weekend in Ghana at the Cape Coast.
