On Friday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has confirmed 1,794 new coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours in Finland. This is the highest daily number since the beginning of the pandemic. THL also confirms 15 new deaths.

Currently, 287 (-22) people are being treated in the hospital for symptoms caused by the coronavirus. Of the patients being treated in the hospital, 54 (-6) are in intensive care.
